The College of Education (CED) of Capitol University officially welcomed two education students from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Indonesia, upon their arrival at Laguindingan Airport on July 1, 2026. Their visit marks the beginning of an enriching academic and cultural journey under the SEA-Teachers Program, an international exchange initiative that allows pre-service teachers from Southeast Asia to gain hands-on practicum experience in another SEAMEO Member Country, SEAMEO Associate Member Country, or a SEAMEO Affiliate Member, coordinated by the Office for Internationalization and Linkages (OIL).
Receiving the delegates at the airport were Dr. Andrews Mauiling, Dr. Janet Parpa, and Dr. Arnold Dacuno, alongside representatives from the Capitol University Muslim Student Association (CU-MSA) and the President of the College of Education Student Body Organization (CESBO).
This exchange initiative opens opportunities for meaningful learning, cultural immersion, and lasting friendships that will further strengthen the bond between Capitol University and Universitas Negeri Jakarta, as well as between the Philippines and Indonesia.
