After 2 years, Capitol University’s College of Nursing held its first face to face investiture ceremonies. In accordance with the city’s alert level one status and observance of health protocols, 174 candidates of batch 2023 had their much-awaited Capping & Badging Investiture and Candle-lighting Ceremonies last Saturday, March 12, 2022. The event started with a eucharistic celebration and the blessing of the caps, badges, and lamps, which was officiated by Msgr. Eutequiano Legitimas, the university chaplain. The event’s guest of honor, F02 Angel G. Carbajal of the Public Information Unit, Bureau of Fire Protection-X, delivered an inspirational message. Ms. Carbajal is an alumna of the CU-CON Batch 2012, as well as of the CU HS and Basic Education.
This ceremony signifies the official initiation of the student-candidates into the brotherhood and sisterhood of nurses. It is a proud moment for the students as they are welcomed into the nursing profession. Congratulations to all the candidates!
