Capitol University College of Nursing participated in the 10th International Conference for Nurses (ICONS 10) held last November 26-27, 2021. The conference, organized by the College of Nursing of Cebu Normal University, was conducted with the theme “Responsive Connections & Collaboration for a ‘Better Normal’: Transforming Global Nursing research.”
The CU College of Nursing won several prestigious awards, including:
- Dr. Huemer O. Uy:
- 1st place in the Qualitative Studies (Professional Category) with his research study entitled, “Cross-Case Analysis and Thematic Synthesis on Filipino Adults with Filial Care Responsibilities.”
- 2nd place in the Qualitative Studies Strand (Professional Category) with his research study entitled, “Axiomatic Approach in Developing the Filial Care Theory.”
- Francis Lindley C. Wong: 2nd place in the Nursing & Technology Strand (Student Category) with his research study entitled, “Sources of Information and Compliance Behavior Concerning COVID-19 among Community-dwelling Filipinos.”
