June 19th is a significant holiday for the US and other parts of the world, but it is also a special day among the members of the Capitol University community for a different reason. June 19 is the birthday of CU’s brilliant and beloved Executive Vice President, Dr. Fe Rosales Juarez.
Every year on her birthday, it has become tradition for all of CU’s administrators, faculty, and staff to come together and honor June birthday celebrants, get to know new employees, and become re-acquainted with old friends in the school. However, because of the global pandemic, the tradition has been halted for now.
This year, the EVP celebrated her birthday with her CU family with conscious consideration of COVID-19 restrictions. She spent her birthday preparing and giving loot bags to all 200+ of CU’s faculty and staff. In addition, she also prepared 2,400 meal packs for the inmates in the City Jail, not to mention her gifts to some religious communities. The celebrant was busy with gift-giving on her birthday.
Anyone who has met Dr. Fe knows of her gracious presence and exceptional generosity. She is the “pulsating heart” of Capitol University, according to former CU academician Dr. Priscila Sayson and echoed by many in the community. Her thoughtfulness knows no bounds.
Asked what inspires her to be so generous, Dr. Fe says, “For me, it is my thanksgiving to God for his countless blessings in my life.”
Happy birthday, Dr. Juarez! We are ever grateful for you!
